My Vision for POSDIGI: Becoming Indonesia’s Digital Backbone for Logistics and Finance

Lately, I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on where PosDIGI should go next. Formerly known as PT Pos Finansial Indonesia, PosDIGI was born as the financial services arm of Pos Indonesia. But today, the reality is—we’ve evolved far beyond that origin.

With the Indonesian government preparing to consolidate 18 state-owned logistics entities into one national powerhouse, I see a massive opportunity: PosDIGI has the potential to become the digital backbone of Indonesia’s national logistics and financial ecosystem.

A New Vision for a New Era

Our old vision—“to be a trusted national financial services provider”—no longer represents the breadth of our ambition. So, together with my team, we decided to be bolder.

This is not just a new vision. It’s a declaration of direction and intent. We believe that digitalization is no longer only about efficiency, but about sustainability, connectivity, and equitable access.

Our Mission: Digitally Connecting the Nation

From that vision, we crafted a mission—one that reflects our commitment to build platforms that are not just large, but inclusive. Platforms that reach from major cities to rural villages, that serve government, business, and society alike.

We aim to:

  • Build and manage digital systems for national logistics and finance.

  • Deliver trusted digital solutions for B2B and B2G segments.

  • Connect partners, agents, and communities via open digital platforms.

  • Be the bridge between the physical and the digital, between Pos Indonesia and the future.

We’re Not Just Digital—We’re Orchestrators

When I compare PosDIGI to other state-owned entities, I realize we are truly unique:

  • We have over 200,000 agents and post offices as nationwide distribution channels.

  • We already operate payment switching and logistics aggregation.

  • We deliver enterprise digital solutions: cloud, AI, seat management, and government system integration.

PosDIGI is a digital orchestrator—not just a digital enabler.

Turning Vision Into Action

To realize this ambition, we’ve outlined several strategic moves:

  1. Aligning with national agendas like Sislognas and financial inclusion.

  2. Positioning as a partner to other SOEs, not a competitor.

  3. Securing key digital licenses: PJP Category 3, PSrE, IKD, Lending Platform.

  4. Building a digital-first culture and growing top talent.

  5. Forging meaningful collaborations with technology providers and strategic partners.

More Than Ambition—A Responsibility

I’m writing this not just to share a dream, but to state a commitment. PosDIGI has a long legacy, an expansive network, and a public mandate. That’s exactly why we must leap further.

We believe:

“If Pos Indonesia delivers goods, then PosDIGI delivers connectivity, transactions, and digital solutions for Indonesia.”

“From infrastructure to people, PosDIGI stands as the digital connector of the nation.”
